Our journey with ColdFusion at iSummation Technologies began over two decades ago, back when it was still known as all about ColdFusion software development. Since then, we’ve witnessed the growth of the technology as it transitioned from Macromedia and later to Adobe. Over this time, we’ve worked on hundreds of ColdFusion projects worldwide, gaining vast experience and technical expertise.
From the start, we’ve operated across diverse industries, including:
- Healthcare
- Legal tech
- Government systems
- Financial services
- Education
- E-commerce
- Logistics and supply chain management.
Every interaction with Adobe CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language) technology has been an opportunity to learn, adapt, and improve in response to the unique demands of each sector.
Regardless of the industry or project scale, one recurring theme caught our attention. While ColdFusion technology is efficient and robust, it still generates uncertainty and scepticism among businesses and software developers. This realisation led us to a key decision aimed at giving back to the ColdFusion developers community, but we’ll get to that soon. First, it’s important to explain how we got here.
What Has ColdFusion Taught Us Over the Years?
A common topic in discussions about ColdFusion programming is uncertainty. Over the years, we’ve seen many businesses grapple with similar concerns, which required both technical and human solutions.
First, there’s hesitation about whether to maintain existing ColdFusion web applications. Many organisations question whether they should invest in updating their solutions or migrate to new platforms altogether. The answer isn’t always clear, and each case requires careful analysis.
Another frequent need we’ve observed is the desire to optimise or modernise systems already running on ColdFusion programming. Like any technology, applications built with this programming language require CFML maintenance to stay agile, secure, and efficient. While necessary, this can be challenging, especially for companies that lack access to specialised consultants or resources.
Finally, there are performance and security concerns. Some organisations struggle to understand why their applications are running slowly or experiencing vulnerabilities in an increasingly demanding tech landscape.
For every challenge we encountered, our team worked to add value. Over the years, we’ve developed, migrated, and optimised countless applications. These experiences gave us the kind of deep knowledge only continuous practice can provide.
Why Are We Offering Free Consulting?
After so many years immersed in this ecosystem, we decided it was time to give back to the community that has relied on ColdFusion software solution for so long. It didn’t make sense to keep this knowledge to ourselves. Our mission has always been to solve problems, deliver innovative solutions, and inspire confidence in those who come to us.
This led to the idea of offering a free 30-minute consultation with our ColdFusion developers. The intention behind this initiative is simple: we want to hear from those who still trust this technology, answer their questions, help them plan their next steps, and most importantly, provide clarity and confidence to the teams managing these projects.
Unlike many other commercial initiatives, we’re not looking for hard sales or long-term contracts. The goal is to share our expertise and guide businesses. It’s our way of saying thank you for the trust the market has placed in us for over 20 years.
What Can You Expect from These 30 Minutes?
Wondering what happens during this consultation? Here’s a detailed look. These 30 minutes are led by our senior ColdFusion developers, professionals who have been with us since the early days of ColdFusion (CFML) and have a thorough understanding of the technology.
During the session, we’ll analyse the current state of your ColdFusion development. This includes identifying performance bottlenecks, mapping security vulnerabilities, and understanding how your system integrates with the rest of your organisation’s infrastructure.
If you’re considering migrating to another platform or planning significant updates within ColdFusion, this consultation is the perfect moment to explore your options. Our team can provide practical guidance, whether it’s modernising your system in-house or transitioning to new technological solutions.
Beyond technical insights, this is also an opportunity to discuss strategic planning. How can you leverage the technology to meet specific business goals? Where should you invest to achieve the best returns? These are just a few topics that can be addressed during the conversation.
Finally, we believe in the value of open dialogue. We’re committed to answering all your questions, whether they’re about performance issues or broader concerns about the future of the technology. Our approach is transparent and straightforward, with no hidden agendas.
Who Is This Consultation For?
While ColdFusion is admired by many, we recognise it’s not for everyone. This consultation is designed specifically for companies already using ColdFusion applications and looking to optimise or modernise them. It’s also useful for those who are uncertain about how to proceed with legacy systems.
Additionally, the session is relevant for teams considering adopting ColdFusion migration as the foundation for new solutions. Our role is to clarify the tool’s possibilities and limitations, helping decision-makers make more informed choices.
A Legacy That Deserves Trust
Offering this free consultation is, in large part, our way of cementing ColdFusion’s legacy in the tech industry. We strongly believe in the potential of this language, even in a landscape where it doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves. Over 20 years, we’ve seen ColdFusion overcome countless challenges and continue delivering reliable solutions.
If your organisation uses ColdFusion or if you’re considering modernising existing solutions, this is a unique opportunity to connect with experts. This isn’t just a consultation—it’s a window into two decades of accumulated knowledge and experience.
We invite you to share any challenges or questions you have about ColdFusion consulting. We’re here to listen and help. After all, everything starts with a simple conversation. And, as we’ve seen time and time again, great transformations can come from that.
Let’s talk ColdFusion. And let’s move forward—together.
