We developed an online auction software website for the client in French. The web based application is designed in terms of looks and usability to best fit requirements of European standards. It is designed in order to accommodate maximum amount of automation.
The site enables the buyers and sellers to surf the site to find an item that interests them for online bidding. They can register to bid for these items. Once the user signs up for the site, he is provided with a personalized page where they can manage all their auctions ( Buying or Selling) Some other features that are available on the site are Featured items, Proxy Bidding, Personalized Watch lists, Favourite items, Memorized auctions, Auto relisting, reserve pricing, User rating and feedback.
All these features enhance the usability of the website as they provide the user with several options to make the best use of the application. Several promotion options are also available for the Sellers
The biggest challenge in such a site is an auction tracking feedback mechanism that keeps all the activities in synch and generates alerts and emails for notifying the user and admin. A process is created to help the users need to voice their views and concerns.
The revenue generation of the site is by means on selling fees and registration fees.

The admin of the live online bidding software application needs to be very robust as the number of the records being handled is very high. The development team worked hard on developing a backend interface that makes navigation through all these records very easy.
