The following are the steps involved in the ERP Implementation lifecycle.

• Exploration During this stage, you will explore the various vendor and technology options that will be most suitable for your ERP implementation.
• Assessment
  A team of experts panel dug from the company will assess all the ERP technology and vendor options based on the various parameters. The most suitable option will be selected
• Warm Up
  This is the defining moment in the ERP implementation cycle. All the requirements will be listed and prioritized. Hierarchical teams will be set up to allow proper information flow and distribution.
• Gap Analysis
  A detailed review of existing processes and how they will be implemented using the ERP. If any gaps occur, which often do, methods are devised by either altering business processes or forgoing them altogether. This is an instrumental part of ERP planning
• Business Process Re-evaluation The changes decided upon in the previous stage are implemented here. The floor business processes are re-invented and adjusted to easily liaison with software based ERP processes.
• System Design
  Here the ERP implementation model is decided. The implementation development starts hereon
• Training
  Company employees are trained for the upcoming changes are challenges during the ERP system construction and handover process. A trained employee will more readily embrace the inconveniences and work out ways to solve temporary problems
• Initial Testing
  At this is stage the ERP software is subjected to several tests. Practical problem scenarios are recreated to help evaluate system performance.
• Mock-up
  Here the newly developed ERP system takes over the older systems and processes
• Employee training
  The company employees are educated about the ERP implementation and use. They are trained on how to maximize the benefits from the ERP software
• Post Implementation Constant fine tuning efforts continue way past the time the ERP systems are implemented. This ensures system health and longevity.
