Business Requirements

The client wanted an online interface where the site visitors could request a free / no obligation insurance quote in various lines of insurance for their business needs. These quotes are supplied to agents who assess and review the insurance program to protect personal assets or your business. At least two insurance agents give insurance quotes and plan options to the insurance seeker. The user would thus have the best opportunity to make an informed decision when selecting a new insurance plan, be it auto insurance, homeowners insurance, business insurance or life insurance solution.

iSummation Technologies designed a site where insurance agents can connect with people who are seeking insurance. Site surfers fill out a relevant form according to their insurance needs. They can then submit these forms to the website free of cost.

Insurance agents, handling different areas group life insurance, group dental insurance, group life insurance, individual long term insurance quote login to the website to view the leads. They are categorized on the basis of their area of specialty and city. When a lead arrives which belongs to their area and city, it is forwarded to them in their login. The agent login is a paid login. Once they pay a monthly registration fee using credit card, they can login to the site and view relevant leads. A limit of 2 agents per city was implemented in order to avoid clash of business interest. The agents are charged an additional fee for leads; the fee varies according to the lead category.

Admin section consists of an interface for the admin where he can view all the news leads submitted by the site visitors. The admin can sort these by the kind of insurance and the city. They are then submitted to two agents operating in the specific city. The charges are billed to the agent on per lead basis. The admin can also send newsletters to the registered agents.
