Scope

The scope of the Document Management System assigned to iSummation Technologies was a Data Management solution that is a robust, industry-standard solution for the management of client data.

It would allow for a cross-platform browser interface for the uploading, classification and searching of data, while also providing extensive user- and file-level security features. It would provide for standard document management features, such as revision control, rollback capability and data administration.

The Document Management System is designed to serve several purposes, all of which primarily benefit organizations that employ 3-dimensional data capture processes within their engineering workflow. The application will address typical problems in the workflow. It will incorporate efficient solutions for these problems based of feasibility and technology limitations.

Technology

The Document Management system is developed and deployed using the Microsoft .NET platform. The Data storage built upon Microsoft’s SQL Server Software.

Ajax to Speed up the application

Ajax is used in to improve the performance of the application. The incremental page updates approach resolves slow refresh response problems usually faced. Ajax helps the web application attain the best user standards for its end users

Site Performance optimization will be the key point of focus in the development and database design effort. The new website created will have better downloading speed and better usability.
